Montezuma holds a number of multi-commodity exploration and mining tenements in Western Australia. The Company's primary focus is on its 100% owned Butcherbird manganese and copper projects where maiden resources have been defined and commercial studies are ongoing.
Montezuma also holds an option over 75% ownership of the Woodie Woodie West Project, a landholding that has potential to host mineralisation analgous to the adjacent high grade Woodie Woodie Manganese Mine.
The Yamarna Project, within the Archean Yamarna Greenstone Belt contains a broad regionally contiguous gold anomaly defined through historic activities, and untested by follow up work. The tenement holds good potential for orogenic gold mineralisation similar to that defined by Gold Road Resources Ltd at their Gruyere gold discovery along strike from Montezuma's ground holding.
The Green Dam Project is located east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia and holds good potential for economic sulphide nickel mineralisation, having been the focus of previous work which defined significant nickel sulphide mineralisation along two ultramafic contact zones over significant strike lengths.
Butcherbird Manganese Project
The Butcherbird Manganese Project hosts a large manganese resource with a current JORC estimate covering part of the known mineralised zone of 64.7 M tonnes @ 11.2% Mn.
